
Utilizing Resources
Under the leadership of the College’s agriculturist, Adisu Shumie, the challenge of utilizing the unused campus land and other resources for income generation was taken to another level.
First, a large greenhouse was constructed, and different kinds of tree seedlings are being produced for sale to the public during this next rainy season.
Second, unused campus land has been ploughed and planted with vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and broccoli this summer for student use when they return and/or for sale to the public.
