Evangelist Adane Dechasa Teshale served his congregation as an evangelist for some years before attending MK College. After graduation, he returned to serve his church for more years. Currently he is serving as Director of the Peace Building Department in Ethiopia’s Inter-Religious Council where he shares his expertise in Peace Building and Theology. His motto is from Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers”. To further his expertise, Adane earned an MA from EGST in 2016 in Peace and related issues and is currently pursuing another MA at A.A University with emphasis on Peace and Security in Africa. He also earned various certificates in the areas of Transformational Leadership, Conflict Transformation, Peace Building, Restorative Justice, Mediation and Dialogue, common values and golden rules for inter-faith leaders, etc.

Adane provides short training workshops both within and outside Ethiopia. He teaches publicly on peace building, tolerance, and coexistence. He also writes different articles. As an Evangelist, in addition to his formal work, Adane serves as the chairperson in his local church, as Secretary of the A.A Region MKC Executive Committee and as a member of the Mission Board.
